Ocean Classes
Ocean classes take place at San Carlos beach in Monterey (aka "Breakwater"). This beach is uniquely sheltered from ocean swells because it faces east, and waves are never more than waist high. There is a kelp forest that is home to hundreds of fish, octopus and invertebrate species. We are frequently joined by seals, sea lions, dolphins and otters.
Location
We will meet on the grassy area in front of San Carlos Beach in Monterey. Look for the "Fins and Foam" banner, a big blue blanket and a bunch of freediving buoys.

Parking

There is a decent amount of parking around San Carlos Beach. If you can't find a spot in the lot next to the grass, check the other lots around. You can pay with card in any of these lots. Make sure to pay because parking enforcement is very active.
